Flashback Friday
Well today was the first game of hockey playoffs. Things get really crazy here in Calgary. It seems as though the city shuts down. Nobody follows their regular routines, it's all about getting together with friends at someone's house or at a bar to watch the game. It doesn't matter if it's a week night or a weekend, it's all the same. Listening to people cheer in the neighbourhood and living only two blocks from the Red Mile make this time of year especially exciting for us. Tickets to actually see a game live are nearly impossible to come by. My flashback today is from 2 years ago when we were lucky enough to get tickets to a Flames game in the Stanley Cup final.

Rick was just watching the game on tv (yay flames!) and he was wondering if you were there tonight. He asked if you guys knew that you were supposed to wear red. Judging by this picture (so cute btw) I guess you know :)
No we were not at the game tonight, but we do have tickets for Sunday's game. It's pretty much common knowledge around here that you wear red to a game. You should hear it around here now, people are going crazy in the streets!
flames, boo. ;) i really hope a canadian team wins this year!
Go Kings! We will, we will, rock you..
But if I was Canadian, I would root for the Flames, I promise.
